I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here, I've spent several hours looking everywhere to work out which area I've uncovered.
At first I thought it was glitched but other people have unlocked it on Xbox Live and the PSN so now I'm not so sure.
It's driving me crazy! Anyone got any tips or hints?

Yes, I've googled everywhere already and that's the first place I went to. I stood there and ran around for about 10 minutes on the island to be sure too.

Have you checked chytra atoll just below Kythera island. This was my last one, I thought I had already done it as it looked the same shade as the nearby island. However once I stepped on it the achievement popped.

Tried that too Divinefury! It's very frustrating! I wish there was some way to work out at least which region I'm missing it from.
Any others people can think of? 😢

Check in Lakonia between Pass of the Warriors and Limnae Marsh for a sub Region called Valley of the Two Kings.

That was the last one I needed as well......I was in a party with a friend who pointed it out as a possible location and sure enough.

I've done Valley of the Two Kings as well! I"m wracking my brain trying to work out what you guys have found that I haven't

zoom in on the worldmap, and just pan through the entire thing.
All the subareas are named. so it should be possible to just visit them one at a time. I would start with the island regions...multiple of them have small tiny subislands that you cant see if you visitted on the map.Also, did you visit all corners of the ocean? Im not sure its needed, but i did notice that i got "exploration xp" occasionally for removing fog of war at sea

Where are you seeing the stat 99.53? Achievements aren't tracking at all for me on this game.

Go into the Ubisoft Club and under Statistics there will be "Regions Discovered" each Sub Region is roughly 0.5%.

Thanks for this! We are 5 years into the XB1 and some games still don't have achievement tracking which is crazy to me.

Well, as my luck would have it, I finally got up to 100% of regions discovered in the Ubisoft Club. No achievement. Seems bugged for me. Next step is to remove save data and resync

The west taygetos foothills was the last area for me as it was pretty hidden in the mountain. South west of sparta on the messenia side of mt taygetos
